Use
the sun to heat the hot water in your home and you will
be saving money as well as doing your part for our environment.
Conventional electric water heaters are often the biggest
energy users in the home contributing up to 7 tonnes of
greenhouse gas per year.
A solar hot water system uses sunlight to heat water.
It consists of a solar collector and water tank. Water
passes through the collector and is heated by sunlight
shining on the collector. This hot water is stored in
the water tank ready for use. The system also consists
of either an electric booster or gas booster, which help
in heating the water on cloudy days.Heating water requires
a substantial amount of energy.
A solar hot water system can be installed in your home
in a matter of hours.
By installing a solar hot water system you can not only
reduce your electricity bills but also dramatically reduce
the amount of CO2 emissions of your household.
