SL60

The Sealite SL60 is the most popular and versatile 2nm solar marine light available. Made from tough, durable polycarbonate and using the latest high-intensity LED’s, no expense has been spared in the design and development of this lantern.

The SL60 can be installed in minutes, and requires no operator intervention. The flash-characters are easily adjusted on-site by the user, and the lantern has a permanent ON/OFF switch for easy storage.

During daylight hours the solar module will charge the battery, and the lantern will automatically begin operation at dusk – once the ambient light threshold drops sufficiently.

The SL15, SL60 and SL70 lanterns are the only compact marine lanterns available with a sealed battery compartment, allowing the battery to be replaced after years of service – don’t throw the light away at the end of the battery service life.

The unit is sealed using polycarbonate bonding compounds similar to those used by major automobile manufacturing companies.

The SL70 2 mile compact LED lantern is the most advanced and versatile compact lantern on the market. The dual solar module unit is designed for low-medium sunlight conditions and has proven its reliability in regions such as Britain, Belgium and North America. Users are continually pleased at the ease of battery replacement.
Both the lens and base are made from UV stabilised LEXAN® polycarbonate to provide excellent impact-resistance. The lantern is completely sealed and vented to alleviate pressure build-up through air exchange, without moisture ingress.
Coupled with LED technology, and a highly efficient DC/DC converter, the lantern may provide over 30 days of continuous operation without sunlight (14 hour darkness, 12.5% duty cycle).

SLC300 3nm Solar LED Lantern

The SLC300 is a completely self-contained 3nm Solar LED Lantern designed for a range of low maintenance applications. The lantern is easily installed in minutes and requires no further operator intervention.

The SLC300 has 4 premium grade 2watt solar modules embedded in a rotationally moulded housing - providing high visibility IALA colours, excellent sunlight collection and vandal resistance. The light may be set to any of 256 IALA recommended flash rates, which are adjustable on-site without the need for external devices. In addition, the SLC300 features the Sealite LED Reflector (U.S. Pat. No. 6,667,582 & AU Pat. No. 778,918) which increases the intensity and uniformity of the horizontal output.

SLC310 3nm Solar LED Lantern

The SLC310 is a robust completely self-contained 3nm Solar LED Marine Lantern designed to fit directly onto existing 200mm OD structures.
The unit is made from cast aluminium, subject to 7-stage powder-coating in high visibility IALA colours for daytime recognition. Four (4) premium-grade solar modules are integrated into the assembly, and mounted to collect sunlight at all angles.

The unit is capable of producing any of 256 IALA recommended flash characters - field-adjustable without the need for ancillary equipment.

SLC500 5nm Solar LED Lantern

The SLC500 is a completely self-contained 5nm Solar LED Lantern designed for a range of low-maintenance applications.

The light boasts a large internal battery compartment, a SL125-2 LED light-head, and 4 premium-grade 12watt solar modules mounted to collect sunlight at all angles.

The SLC500 is moulded from UV stabilised virgin polyethylene providing enormous impact and weather resistance, along with high visibility IALA colours. In addition, the tough LEXAN® polycarbonate lens is specifically designed with LEDs, and incorporates an environment-friendly spike- deterring unwelcome bird life.

SLC600 6nm Solar LED Lantern

The SLC600, the world's largest self-contained LED lantern, is a 6nm Solar LED Light designed for a range of low-maintenance applications.

The light boasts a large internal battery compartment, an SL125-4 LED light-head, and 4 premium grade 20watt solar modules mounted to collect sunlight at all angles.

The SLC600 is moulded from UV stabilised virgin polyethylene, providing enormous impact and weather resistance, in addition to high visibility IALA colours.

The user-friendly 2-piece design allows the lantern to be opened for convenient battery inspection or replacement whilst the base remains fixed to the supporting structure.

SL30/32

The SL30/32 lantern is a compact ready to use lantern which is available without solar modules for 240 volt or 110 volt applications. The lantern uses an array of ultra high intensity LED's with an expected service life of 9-11 years.

In addition to 250 available flash characteristics the flasher unit has pulse width setting adjustments permitting the user reduce the range and power consumption.

The battery is quickly serviced without the need for the lantern to be removed from the buoy or fixtures.

SL50/SL52 3-4nm Self Contained Lantern

The SL50 and SL52 3-4 mile LED lanterns perform exceptionally well in medium sunlight regions and are ideal for fixed and buoy installations including navigation, hazard lighting, perimeter lighting and a range of other applications.

The units have been widely adopted by professionals in the marine sector, including ports and harbours, transport departments, and coast guards.

The SL50 and SL52 lantern use 20 ultra-high intensity LEDs as a light source, and incorporate a 4.5Ah sealed battery and one (SL50) or two (SL52) 5watt solar module(s). As with all Sealite lanterns, the units use the Sealite LED 360 degree reflector (US Pat. No. 6,667,582 & AU Pat. No. 778,918) which increases the intensity and uniformity of the horizontal output.

These models are extremely versatile and offer the user enormous flexibility including on-site setting to any of over 250 IALA recommended flash characters, and any of 4 intensity settings. The 20 LED flasher units are interchangeable between lanterns, allowing the operator to replace the flasher unit with another colour at any stage of the product’s life. SL23/SL24 3-4nm Self Contained Lantern Series

The SL23/SL24 and SL23.5/SL24.5 3-4 mile Self Contained Lantern range perform exceptionally well in low sunlight regions, or where heavy duty-cycles or a steady-light is required. The angle of tilt of the solar module is adjustable to maximise solar radiation collection in accordance to latitude. A large number are installed throughout Britain and North America, and the units are ideal for navigation, hazard lighting, perimeter lighting and a range of other applications.

SL125 5-7nm LED Lantern Series

The SL125 LED marine lantern is maintenance-free and used by some of the busiest ports, and large militaries.

SL125 Technology
The SL125 is the most advanced LED marine lantern on the market. Utilising the latest software and microcircuitry developments, the lantern boast a huge number of features including flash-memory and the most efficient power conversion available.

The tough LEXAN® polycarbonate lens is specifically designed for use with LEDs, The unit is sealed using polycarbonate bonding compounds similar to those used by major automobile manufacturing companies. This also enables a waterproof rating of IP68- unmatched by other manufacturers.

Lantern Operation
The SL125 is ideal to fit on existing structures, or can be supplied as a complete unit with external solar modules and battery compartment (see SL125C product page).

The large industry-standard base, and 1 metre of included cable allows the SL125 to be readily fitted to any 12 volt power supply.

Remote monitoring and control capabilities are available from the SL125 lantern allowing the performance of the units to be monitored from remote sites. Systems status including battery condition, flash characters, operational configurations and lantern/buoy position may be monitored through radio and satellite communications.

The SL125 4-Tier lantern utilises a unique heat-dissipating domed lens to achieve maximum LED intensity output over a wider range of environmental conditions. In addition, each LED array incorporates temperature control mechanisms to ensure maximum operational performance.

SL125-GPS 5-7nm Synchronised Lantern Series

Utilising latest advancements in GPS technology, Sealite has developed an internal synchronisation system for the popular SL125 5-7nm range of lanterns.

The SL125-GPS lantern provides the user with the ability to mark a channel, port or river with independently operating beacons that all flash in synchronisation. This presents a clear outline of the channel each time the lanterns flash, and is particularly effective in overcoming background lighting.

With advantages in electronics, Sealite has been able to produce a light that incorporates a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver. No additional power supplies, aerials or control systems are required. The SL125-GPS is a microprocessor-based system that has been designed to provide maximum reliability and performance of the beacon over a wide range of environmental conditions.

Using overhead satellites, multiply SL125 units set to the same flash pattern will synchronise anywhere in the world.
SeaFlare Technology™

The inbuilt GPS receiver and advanced software of the Sealite synchronised lanterns allow for the adoption of SeaFlare channel marking- a unique system that cascades the synchronisation of channel lanterns in a uni or bi-directional flash pattern.

In Australia, the Port of Melbourne Corporation has adopted this technology from Sealite to clearly identify the channel leading into Station Pier- an area that regularly accommodates some of the world's largest passenger vessels including the QE2.
The neighbouring Port of Geelong utilise this technology to safely guide Afromax Tanders among other large sized vessels into harbour.

SL125C Complete 5-7 nm LED Lantern Assembly

The SL125C-1 is a complete 5 mile LED lantern assembly, designed for reliable, long-range, fixed mounting operation in almost any region.

The SL125C-1 assembly is equipped with the standard SL125 lantern, and uses 36 ultra-high intensity LEDs as a light source. The lantern is completely sealed and incorporates some of the most advanced electronic circuity available, coupled with the Sealite LED 360 degree reflector (US Pat. No. 6,667,582) which increases the intensity and uniformity of the horizontal output.

The lantern can be easily set on-site to any of over 250 IALA recommended flash characters and any of 4 intensity settings, without the need for remote devices or removing the lens/lantern from the fixture.

The assembly includes one large 20watt solar module, adjustable to 51 degrees, and a 24Ah sealed battery. The battery is housed in an IP65 rated enclosure (vented) within the tough battery housing. Manufactured entirely by Sealite, the aluminium housing is robotically folded, and subjected to a 7-stage powder-coating process to ensure guaranteed precision every time.

The unit has 3 industry standard mounting holes, and once installed, requires no operator intervention.
