Cashback on Solar Power Systems in NSW

There has never been a better time to produce your own clean, green, renewable energy.
Solar Technology Australia's photovoltaic power systems avoid the production of polluting greenhouse gases, providing you with your own quiet, efficient and environmentally friendly power station on the roof of your home. In New South Wales cash rebates are available from the Australian Greenhouse Office (AGO) in conjunction with the Department of Energy Usability & Sustainability (DEUS). For a householder installing a 1000 Watt solar power system on their own home a rebate of $4,000 is available!

Rebates

The AGO and DEUS provide rebates for solar systems for:-

Residential buildings
Schools

Government and public buildings
Charity and non-profit organisations

BP Solar offers a rebate in addition to government rebates of 50c per watt in return for the rights to the Renewable Energy Credit of the system. A 1kw system would attract an additional rebate of $500.
